On a daily basis:
1. I'm seeing more and more familiar faces and familiar brands appearing here.
2. The people I used to see only occasionally on Google+, seem to be spending more and more time here.
3. I'm getting more email from readers of my blogs, asking about Google+.
Something BIG is happening and we're involved!

I'm not feeling the Google+ love yet. Seems very male, and very American to me. Neither of those are bad things, I just don't feel at home here yet.
Very American is true, but there are many women here as well. Have you checked out +Women of Google+ for example?
+sharon tanton What does "very American" mean?
It means the people who are most active in my circles are American. Lots of my British contacts who I connect with on Linkedin or Twitter aren't here, or if they are here, they're not posting much. Thanks for the Woman of Google+ tip Jan, I'll look them up!
Yes, to me it means the same… Very American = dominated by Americans… Which is not a value statement, just an observation…
Getting better in the UK +Jan Hemmingsen
Your experience here is based on who you circle. I've never thought about where people might be located. I prefer to circle interesting people, rather than pick based on geography.
That said, I work internationally. I have clients across North America, the UK and Germany, France, South Korea, Ireland, Australia and Qatar.
If I was offering a local service and used G+ exclusively for marketing, which I don't, local would probably be more relevant.
Knowledge is world wide so I am not concerned where people are located. I use G+ to find information that interests me but I would like to see more Australian participation and I am sure it will arrive soon
I'd like to have +2'd your comment +frank warwick!
Thanks +Jim Connolly I was a huge Twitter user (that's where I first came across you) and found a ton of great information and then along came G+. I rarely go to Twitter any more looking for stimulas because G+ provides it and I get to talk and interact with the people I get the info from.
I love Twitter too, +frank warwick. I have never liked Facebook, and find G+ perfect for discovering.
Google+ has quickly become my most valued social network.
I do not pick based on Geography either although I do look where people are situated, but practically everyone who is suggested to me or who makes out the top lists are American so the platform is certainly dominated by Americans.
Which isn't necessarily bad, only is it skewed and thus also dominated by themes that Americans find interesting and events that take place when we Europeans for example cannot participate.
In time this will change I hope so that this becomes a truly global platform where everything tying people to time and space are less important…
In that sense am I hopeful that this becomes what it could become and then I will truly be happy being a part of it…
My only wish that G+ would pull their fingers out with their business pages like Facebook has, I am way over FB but it has become so popular that I have to develop for it.
I think once Google+ is integrated with the various social management tools I use I'll make more of it. At the moment having to come out of my dashboard to use Google+ eats into too much of my time.
The comments to my very short, simply update is a prime example of how effective Google+ already is – After just a handful of months.
I'm extremely optimistic about the coming months and what we will see developing here.
+Jim Connolly bring them here. Thanks for the help.
Hi Jim
All the best for the year ahead from Sunny South Africa
I’m a recent addition to G+ world and whilst I’m still in the learning phase, I have noticed that your quantity of experience on G+ is based on following the right people (people that truly interest you) and developing the optimal circles mix that enhances your experience and varied interests.
I prefer it to FB simply because I have more control as offered by the circles function(less family spam). On G+ I feel like I’m on Twitter then on a FB clone and find it more participatory then I ever found FB.
Just my perspective.
Personally, a big shout out to Jim, you are the first business personality I followed on twitter and it’s been deeply enriching. You helped to broaden my horizons and most importantly, to be brave to ask the “right” questions.
Pravin Govender ( @clark_69) or by simply Clark “ Man of Steel” Kent.

Thanks for the kind words, Pravin.
And you know what is great +Jim Connolly?
We are active now on this new ecosystem. Imagine 1, 2 years from today.
